Needle Felting
Needle felting is a crafting technique where special barbed needles are used to repeatedly poke and mesh wool fibers together. This process creates felted shapes and designs without the need for water or traditional felting methods. It's a versatile craft used to make sculptures, ornaments, and embellishments with a soft, textured finish.
Felt Flowers
Felt flower crafting involves cutting felt fabric into petal shapes, arranging and layering them to mimic the structure of real flowers. Each petal is carefully shaped and attached to a base, creating a blooming effect. Techniques like stitching or gluing may be used to secure layers and add details such as centers or leaves. Felt flowers can be customised with different colors, sizes, and shapes, making them versatile for various craft projects including decorations, accessories, and gifts.
Macrame
Macramé is a crafting technique that involves knotting cords to create decorative patterns and textures. Originating in the 13th century, it became popular in the 1970s and remains beloved today for making everything from wall hangings to jewelry. Using various knots like square knots and half-hitches, artisans manipulate cords to form designs, often incorporating beads and other materials for embellishment.
